If a .177cal air rifle is rated at 16 joules, how many fps is this? JSB Exact pellets are about 8.4 grains.

I was looking for feet per second.

CZ 200 S
CZ 200 PCP air rifles are based on a modular conception of design. These guns incorporate compact action/breech system with fixed or detachable air reservoir, featuring high accuracy potential, consistence of velocities, and minimum of felt recoil.
Thanks to these properties they will be appreciated by a wide spectrum of shooters.

The CZ 200 S version is executed in sport style and produced in .177"/4,5 mm or .22"/5,5 mm calibers and can be used besides target shooting also for pest control as the muzzle energy of this PCP can be set up to 16 J. On special order this version can be delivered with pressure gauge.

Sorry, but the above comment doesn't hold water. I was HUGE into airgus...owned Pneumatics, Springers, PCP's, CO2 guns.....both sub 500 and as high as 1200 FPS....and not ONE was quieter OR more powerfull OR cheaper than a cooey bolt action shooting CB's.

If you want an airgun to have an airgun, fill your boots. If you want a "Quiet pest control" tool, get yourself a fixed action .22 and a box of CB's.

8.4 grains at 750 FPS and a reallly big bang=700.00 ++++
29 grains at 800 FPs and a quiet pop: 100.00 + 7.99 for a box of 100 CB's.

The 200S is $549.00

This one is under 500fps.

The target style CZ 200 T version, made in caliber .1.77"/4.5 mm, is designed mainly for the training and basic competitive shooting. Design of the air rifle complies with ISSF rules.

Who said anything about it being quieter or more powerful or cheaper than a powder gun? If I want to shoot pellets faster than 500fps I need a "reasonable" tool for the job. That's all.

Hi Joe,
I shoot airguns regularly. The majority of them shoot over 500 fps, my Diana 350 .22 cal being the most powerful I have shooting at 22-23 ftlbs (800fps with 15.9 gr pellets.) I also own various other firearms including rimfires but I always seem to grab one of the air rifles when I'm in the mood to plink or small game hunt. I get 500 rounds of JSB exacts .177 pellets (one of the best pellets on the market) for just over $7.00. Same in .22 cal (250 per tin), under $7.00. Many people will comment on the price of quality airguns, their not cheap but people also buy compound bows for twice the price of a decent high power rifle...........it's all preference. BTW the CZ 200 is a great gun to get started in PCP. For what I've read, they seem to be very impressive for the money (FOR AN AIRGUN)

29 grains at 800 FPs and a quiet pop: 100.00 + 7.99 for a box of 100 CB's. Ryan, I tried CB longs in my 750 and FV and found them inaccurate. I chronied them and they were all over the map and well under 800 fps........what kind were you using?

Google DL Airgun in Langley, BC...they have lots of airguns and related accessories, and John and Kelly are great to deal with. I've bought a couple of scopes from them and was very happy with their service.

I have airguns also 350mag, I was just responding to ispud's and wrong way's comments about not seeing a usefulness for airguns over 500fps.;)

I'm in process to compete in Field Target Competition with my HW100T .22,
it usually needs about 720 - 850 fps or 19 - 22 ft.lbs airguns.
I got it from D&L : http://www.dlairgun.com/Weihrauch.htm

I shoot with CB too at my buddy's farm with flipping resetable target @ 20 yrds.
It's all good & fun ...it's not about one or the other ...have them all..lol..

Where do you shoot field target competition? My Condor can do about 40 ft.lbs.

I used to own a condor too ..... at full power 1250 fps with 11.9 gr. pellet.
the grouping is not very well .... and sold it.

Field Target Comp. this weekend at Port Colborne and the weekend after
that at Elmira gun's club.
Field Target shots should be about 3/4" target at 55 yards ...
