Air Shotgun

I saw and tried many air pistols, air revolvers, low or high power air rifles in stores, but never used an air shotgun.

Does anyone have experiences on this? maybe it is a good quiet tool for upland bird hunting?

General consensus is that the shotshells are good for pests and such within 10 yards. If you can get close, I expect it would work fine, but I haven't used one myself.

from what I have heard none will shoot thru dry wall at close range. would like to know if any one knows of a good one.

Definitely a close range mouse harasser. Like the old Crossman 1100 Trapmaster C02 guns from the
late 60's.

That's neat! Only ever seen one in an old gun digest, never actually tried one out. I would like to though. Ever put away any pests or small game with it? What are your choices for ammo?

.380 round ball puts a big hole in things. I own 2 of these shotguns. They work good.

When I was young at the Canadian Sportsman's show the Crossman booth had a section in the back where they were throwing aerial targets of plastic with a rim that came off when they were hit.
They were using one of those cool air powered shotguns!

Its my understanding that Sam Yang, Uen Jin, and Shin Sung are pretty decent. Can't think of any other Korean makers off hand. Which are you referring to?

What do the think of the Gamo offering?

Back in the 80's some were imported from Korea and one of the gun rags did a review on it and found it wasn't much good on upland birds or past point blank ranges.The more modern Korean airguns seem to be popular like the .50 Dragon etc...........Harold
