Does anyone have a source or suggestion where to obtain an air supply tank for my Walther LP400? I tried the local scuba places, and yes I can get a tank with the appropriate fittings, but at a really high cost. I also checked the local airsoft shop and they don't deal with appropriate air supplies.

I was thinking maybe something smaller than the regular sized scuba tanks.

Any suggestions for the Calgary area?

Thanks.

any decent scuba diving place should have compact size tanks. You should look into an emergency tank like this one (left) :

Matter a fact, there are many scuba tank sizes to choose from :

Since that gun fills to 200 bar, you would probably not get too many 200 bar fills with a standard 3000psi scuba tank.....especially if you go with a smaller one.

Gas supply places can provide 6000psi argon fills...another option is to pick up several tanks and cascade them allowing you to use the remaining gas at lower pressure.

I've bought a Scuba tank from the scuba shop (from www.scuba2000.com - aluminum 30 cu ft, it costed $199 filled).
DIN adaptor (the brass part in the middle) came with the rifle, so I only had to unscrew the tank adaptor (at the right), and put DIN.
Also, I don't remember how many bars they put, but now after 5 or 6 refills I have maximum 160 on my cylinder.
So I think it's better (if you don't have to carry it with you) to buy standard size 80 cu ft tank, fill it once - and then forget for 5 years.

I second the 4500psi paintball tank since you'll need a beast of a scuba tank to get many fills. For example, I also have a 200bar rifle and a 120cf 3500psi scuba tank and I think I get about 20 fills at 200bar. A standard 80cf 3000psi scuba tank would be much less. I also have a 13cf 3000psi scuba tank and I think I get about 2 or 3 200bar fills out of it. A standard 3000psi scuba tank regardless of size is not the answer.
