Does anyone own one of these? I'm seriously thinking of getting one, maybe the Condor in the new .25 calibre. Has anyone any experience with one? Thoughts on them? I already own a Theoben, and quite like it, but don't have a PCP.

I have a condor in .22. Love it.

Thinking about getting a .25 cal barrel for it.

Accurate and powerful. It feels like the Barret 50 of pellet guns(excluding the really big calibers like 9mm)

I shoot a 4" steel gong at 50 yrds and it still pancakes the pellets.

The only thing I don't like is the auto resetting safety, and its pretty loud....well really loud for a pellet gun.

A regulator would be nice but I usually fire 40 or so shots the top up the tank with a scuba tank.

I found heavy pellets work best like the Beeman Kodiaks. It will push light pellets like the Crosman Premier super sonic.

Pretty sure they come with a regulator...

A friend has a Condor in .25cal, had it for a few years now to manage the local gopher population in his backyard (doubles as a private airstrip)...

The Condor and the Talon have "Power adjustment wheels" which adjust the preload on the hammer spring.

They don't have tank regultors that keep the air pressure behind the pellet constant from shot to shot, at least from the factory. So as you shoot it the pressure slowly drops. I havn't chrony any of my shots over a long string but you really don't knowitice over 30 or so shots.

The recent thread has inspired me to do some chrono work with the condor.

With a 2500 psi fill it pushed 21gn Weihrauch magnum pellets at 1040 fps and heavy 28gn Eunjin at 890 fps. Power setting was "8".

Normally I would fill the tank to 3000 but my scuba tank is low.

Here is a pic of an 28 gn Eunjin befor and after hitting a steel gong at 54 yards.

As you can see it still has considerable energy at that range.
