Airgun gunsmith

Upgrade yourself

If you buy or make a spring compressor, your rifle isn't hard to upgrade by yourself.I own a HW80 that is already PAL rated.I have taken it apart a few times to re-lube, and replace springs, seals etc.[Had the rifle for 30 years]There aren't many parts to it , and there is lots of info at the air gun forum as suggested above.

Can anyone recommend an airgun repair/gunsmith in the general Hamilton or greater GTA area ?. I have a current production Weihrauch rifle I am considering legally upgrading. Not interested in mailing or shipping the rifle, prefer dropping off in person and picking up.
I know and have met know "Noel' the older english fellow that I think lives in Kitchener I believe but unfortunately due to health reasons he can no longer work on guns.
Thanks,

Len (Leonardj in CGN) is in Wainfleet, Ontario. Is that close enough? He is considered the airgun guru and master airgunsmith in these forums. I have dealt with him and highly recommend him.

+1. Have heard nothing but great things about his work.

The Canadian Airgun Grand Prix is taking place in two weeks in Toronto at the DoubleTree Hotel off Dixon RD. There will be vendors and people who could recommend people to fix the air rifle. My guess Peter from North Sylva would be your best local bet.

Good luck,

Brian
