Airgun mount for .22?

Looking at one of these for mounting an optic on one of my .22lr rifles. The scope has one of those freely adjusting crosshairs within the objective and i'd like to keep it as centered as I can get it.

Think something like this would work for the .22? Or if anyone knows of anything similar that'd do the job.

No reason it won't work unless it covers the ejection port and causes cases to bounce back. I used one on a bolt action 22 but had that problem occasionally.

The gun it's going onto is a single shot (TOZ-8M specifically)

Good to know though. Gonna order one and see how it works out.
