A while ago I purchased a colt M4A1 AEG Airsoft rifle, and just yesterday I picked up this little beauty, Colt/Cybergun 1911A1 full metal blowback Airsoft pistol. And on the way home I got to thinking, a shotgun added to the list and I could set up a pretty fun 3 gun range in the backyard, as I'm somewhat rural on an acreage. Does anyone else do Airsoft 3 gun training? It seems like really cheap practice, and a pile of fun, especially considering I can do it at home.

Here is the new 1911. And man does it ever feel like the real thing. And with the blowback, it's similar to shooting a .22 1911.

And here is my M4

Haha, my neighbours are pretty cool. And they're used to seeing me playing with Airsoft and pellet guns, bows, crossbow, slingshots in the yard. They must think I'm nuts.

Some of the guys at my office play airsoft IPSC.

They are pretty good and the guns (1911 race guns) are almost as much as the real thing.

In Edmonton I ran and competed in 3Gun, 2Gub and IPSC it's a good time and a great way to nail your friends claiming they have a 300' nail driver.

Used to run
Nighthawk 1911 CO2 and a nighthawk green gas version (some require it).
Systema PTW M4
Marushin M500 gas 3 barrel (inner barrels) shotgun used 8mm bbs instead of 6mm

I here good things about the Marui 870 for shotgun options mainly because is has a big gas tank and hold lots of rounds. The spring shotguns are fairly heavy pull and break a lot. Gas is the way to go for shotguns if you care about being competitive.

Right below the "Sticky" that says No Airsoft or Paintball.

Lol. Don't know how I missed that. Oh well... Send me to the OT.

And that seems absolutely ridiculous... Considering Airsoft and paintball guns are in fact airguns... but hey... I guess that's none of my business.

That's some nice gear. I love the TM guns but man are they ever pricey. I'm not quite THAT into it yet.

yeah, this seems to be like the rules in Canada about the AR15, if you shoot plastic bb out of a pellet gun that's ok, if you shoot plastic bb out of bb gun thats ok, if you shoot plastic bb's out of an air soft gun, its a no go. its not what your doing with it or what you are shooting, its all based off the name of the AIR gun when it was made.

buy a cheap semi auto bb gun and buy correct size plastic bb's for it and talk about all day.
