ak 47 csa 58 magazines

Does anybody import 5/30 rd ak47 mags. See them in the states for $20 - $30 . Only ones I find up here are $75. Also does anybody have CSA 58 mags in .223 other than those shiny , smooth plastic ones we get with the rifle? Looking for metal or plastic like the pmags THANKS

The VZ58 .223 mags are all those nice shiny plastic ones. Nothing a can of Krylon or undercoating won't fix though.

Would it make sense to get them shipped to someone licensed to own full capacity magazines, and have them do the pinning for you?

As far as new Vz58 .223 magazines: we're working on it.

Yeah I appreciate it is a small market . Not many of us can own them. I kinda was hoping somebody who regularly imports parts would get a half dozen or so tagged onto a bigger order. I know there are a couple of others looking.

They're on the EE occasionally. Some sellers think it's a seller's market, but really it ain't. The last ones I scooped up were brand new East German mags for just under $50 each. They're available stateside for roughly half that (even with the current paranoia) but not having to deal with the export hassle is a plus.

An overseas source for pinned AK mags of any sorts would be most welcome!

I think you will find the market is bigger than you would first think as there are alot of SKS-D rifles in Canada which use the AK magazines. People would buy alot of 5/30 if they were priced at the 40 mark.

Hopefully that or a polymer mag of Magpul Pmag like quality. I really want to give the .223 VZ58 a try but the plastic mags are a turn off and the AR mag adapter still seems iffy to me.
