AK-47 Wood Furniture ?

Ironwood is over the $100 limit but they ship to Canada. They make lots of AK wood and they do great work (VZ58 kits are gorgeous).

I've bought stocks from Ironwood twice and there was no issue when they came through customs, although it may be a hit-and-miss in some cases. They have a very nice Vz58/CZ 858 kit in stock now, as well as a brend new Russian Red finish option for their wood.

If you want any manner of 47, 74, Yugo, Tabuk, RPK, etc... stock set, then Ironwood can make it. Just remember that the ruger 10/22 WA2000 conversion stock they make is 100% illegal and cannot enter Canada. No matter how nice it looks.

So is the ironwood stuff non-ITAR because there is no hardware with the wood ? Which begs the question, where do you get AK hardware (butt plate) in Canada ?

Good luck with the hardware... I get mine from the Ukraine but even he has dried up. There are tons of stuff in the US...it seems so silly to ban parts that aren't related to the action at all

and heres the obligatory WHY?! a wa2000 body would only make the thing more cumbersome and useless in a crime. and would a criminal even bother spending the cash to dress up a 10/22 anyways?
