Hey, I was at the gun store yesterday and they got a couple AK-47 from an estate. Kinda cool. But my question is what can you do with them? Obviously they are prohib. But they are really cheap. Only $750. Intersting to look at anyways.

550 brand new,
at auction they go for 75-150, thats what i have heard on here.

Yes 750.00 is a bit much usally anywhere from 350.00-550.00 althouht I have paid less depending usally on condition and how bad someone whats the money.

I just built a Norinco Type 56 for about $200 but I have had the parts kit for a while. My 2 Romanian 'G' Ak's were $119 for the parts kits and $75 for the receivers. Hopefully I will have time this weekend to parkerize them.

You can build your own range, but you still can't shoot prohibs. No matter how big the piece of land.

12(2 through 5) prohibs can be taken out of your house. You just cannot get authorization to take them to a range to shoot.
You can take them to a show, to a business, etc.
As far as what one is worth, I suspect that a Norinco commercial civilian rifle would be at the bottom of the scale.

yes, thats what i meant when it comes to shooting it , you cant take it out of the house cos you wont get authorization to take it to the range .
