AK 74 style brake

A while back someone was selling AK 74 style muzzle brakes for the CZ 858. Anybody know who had em and if they are still available?

If you are planning to use it on your non restriced 858 then don't, they overcompensate and push the muzzle down rather then neutral.

Thats not a brake, its a conical flash suppressor.

A friend had the AK style brake on his non-rest 858, took it off right away, it sort of slaps you in cheek with the stock.

I think this is the brake you are referring to. I got it from CGN user obiwanbonjovi. I'm pretty sure he still sells them.

Charles and Supra shame on you , you both know the reason why it's not good on the 858...

It's because it is designed for the VZ 58 (or it's many model versions) with the 15 inch barrel ( the restricted version) not the non-restricted version with the 18 inch barrel.

It works as intended for the barrel length it was designed for.

Yes, I've tried it on the 858 and it pimp slaps you around quite a bit.

all the replies about overcompensating are referring to the dlask arms AKM style brake, not an AK74 style brake like the op asked for.

AK-74 diffrent thread dirrection

zelenysport.cz has them quite cheep but remember that ak-74 it is a left hand thread direction while CZ 858 is the same size but right hand direction. What you do when you buy ak-74 muzzel break from them also buy thread conversion attachment it is realy cheep and worth to have it.

Shiping from Czech republik will cost you les then from US, the site is in english. They have lots of cool stuff
