I've seen a lot of pictures in the different threads of CZ with AK pistol grip and would like to do the same for mine. Does anyone point me to DIY link if there is any? I can't find it myself.

TIA!

I am also interested in this. I talked to Satain about this and this was the response he gave me when i mentioned his Hogue AK-grip:

All you need is an Hogue AK style pistol grip an exactoe blade/dremil and a yellow marker. Hilight the area that needs to be removed and dremil/cut it out.

Hope this helps a bit. But if you are interested in different grips, you can put an AR styled grip on your 858 as well. I am going to put a Magpul MIAD grip on mine, but you will need a Brownell's AR to AK grip mod (~$7).

I think the we need a longer bolt as well. Is that a metric?

Yes, its M6x1.0 for both but the VZ bolt is quite a bit shorter than the AK bolt. With non-rubberized grips I put them mounting end to mounting end and trace the VZ grip outline onto the AK grip and then dremel the AK grip down to fit the VZ grip ferrule. Another option is to remove the VZ grip ferrule and you can bolt on an AK grip with no other mods.

Thanks! Now, who sells those bolts? Home Depot doesn't seem to carry those.....

To make an AK grip fit is very easy. all you need to do is file a small bit of material off of the top front and back of the grip. Like this

ETA: This is a Tapco SAW grip, and I think I re-used the stock CZ bolt

I advice to keep the ferrule on the rifle. The grip will wobble even if it doesn't fit in the ferrule perfectly. Take the ak grip and put the cz grip against it top to top. Trace the outline of the cz grip onto the AK. Dremel a few mm down from the top like the pic shown above. Sand it a bit with a disc to make it fit just right. Better to remove little bits than too much. You will have to remove material from the right side as well for the safety to move freely. It's pretty simple. Just take your time. You will need an AK bolt.

I have a U.S palm AK battle grip on my 858. All I did was remove the lip on the ferrule enough to allow the AKbg to sit against the flat of the the ferrule/receiver. You could remove material from the grip itself but it would be more difficult to fit.
