ak underfolder stock on cz 858?

just wondering if its possible to put and underfolder stock from an ak on a cz 858??

Yes, we did one for a client in the summer. It required the addition of swivel points on the receiver. There is no drop-in installation.

Did you drill the holes into the receiver or did you use a block of steel that bolts in where the stock used to sit and extends out with the holes in it?

I have heard the version that dlask made was uncomfortable to shoot with. someone commented here on it before.

That stock is not fun to use - quite uncomfortable.

DLASK made up some under-folders for the VZ quite some time ago. Great quality, but they don't make them anymore. If you can find one, get it, cause they are rarer than hens teeth now.

just by looking at it, I see there is very little surface area in contact with your shoulder and it doesnt look like you could get a cheek weld on it. Doesnt Curtton have one?

I didn't find it uncomfortable. You get as least as much cheek weld as with the standard folder and it has an increased length of pull which for most shooters is a good thing.

I would have one done if it was a true AK-style conversion, ie. hinge through the receiver, rather than on a separate trunnion attached to the back.

i actually found the AK underfold more comfortable than the standard VZ folder, the underfold was meant to be used with a high red dot, i use a xps2 eotech .
