AK47 Midwest Industries rail

Wolverine came through again! I just got the OK that they could import a MI AK47 rail for me and am looking forward to the confirmation that its arrived! This will be a cost effective rail system (for a safe queen).

It also seems that Midwest Industries have this US Palm ML2 cover available -

.. but unfortunately I can dedicate an optic to a rifle that wont get shot anytime soon.... In a perfect world I would commit an ML2 for that rifle.

Cost was $150 and install was a breeze. Unfortunately this is a Canadian AK and wont see the range anytime soon ... but worth it. This particular project is done

After seeing this thread I had to take my CZ out and tell it that it was OK it wasn't an AK-47....

nice, i love to put that set up on mine but i just cant justify it right now for a safe queen .it s sad when i bought mine it was nt even a restricted firearm.

yep when I bought mine is was was Non-restricted. but I have a CZ58 that sits next to it now and every time I take the CZ to the range it breaks my heart to leave the AK alone in the safe. The goverment is so cruel. Should have never registered it but then again gun laws are only obeyed by the law abiding...

MI has the AK rear sight replacement kit for a fastfire or other microdot. sounds promising ...
