Akdal MKA 1919 Semi Auto?

Looks to be a Semi-Auto AR-15 Varient

With that in mind (that fact that it is an AR variant and not a AK variant) one would assume that it would be allowed in the country. I would also assume that seeing that it is semi-auto the mag would be pinned to 5 rounds (dammit). Wonder what the classification status would be?
Originally, i assumed that it would be restricted, but with the likes o the XCR and ACR being non-restricted is it possible that it could be brought in under the non-restricted banner?

Looks like a potentially slick tactical 12 gauge.

Wondering if anyone here would be interested?
Or more importantly, if any of the dealers would bring it in?

i live in an area with cougars and grizzlys if i pack my semi shotty on my quad, and have a full tube, iam breaking the law,. do you supose either one of those preditors are going to wait while i load a tube?, i could have a mag fed norc, but i dont like the idea of my life depending on the QC of child labour, or the slower cycle rate of a pump. i dont even want to think about the hassel of getting a carry permit, i have been arms lenth from a snarling grizz(looked down the neck hole) and was very LUCKY to escape with my kids.
the rcmp classification part needs a dose of reality. we arnt all gangsters in the big city some of us are still "on the land" and dont need a bunch of big city beurocrats (sp?) telling us what we can or cant use for personal protection

Thanks for the info guys!
Sorry i did a search but didn't turn anything up (obviously did not search the correct items)

Another brilliant classification by the RCMP!
So "classic" semi-auto shotgun with a fully loaded tube can be deemed unrestricted but that same set up "dressed up" like an AR-15 results in a restricted classification.

Understanding guns laws seems about as complicated as understanding quantum physics!

You have to understand that the purpose of our gun laws is not public safety or crime reduction, but the elimination of civilian firearms ownership. Once you understand that the people who wrote the laws had a different agenda, they make much more sense.

For instance, the 12(6) prohibited class for handguns. People say it is idiotic and makes no sense. Not true. With one stroke of the pen, Allan Rock managed to prohibit over half the handguns in Canada. This amounts to delayed confiscation, since only grandfathered people can own them. The day the last 12(6) holder dies, the Chretien Lib government will have completed the confiscation of hundreds of thousands of hand guns. All without creating much of a fuss among the general public and without paying a penny of compensation. If they had simply prohibited them, the outcry would have been huge. Doing it this way was cheaper and less trouble and just required some patience.

Based on that, you tell me if our gun laws are stupid and nonsensical or not.
