I have the Akdas and have put about 630 rounds through it of PMC Bronze, Winchester white box, and Federal AE (all FMJ, all 55 gr). Used 5/30 PMAGS, LAR15 mags, MFT mags.
For a Turkish gun, I initially had my doubts and was somewhat leery about buying it. But I am so .223 SA starved since all my other sporters went into the government penalty box.
My opinion only and maybe I got a good one, but I have not had a single problem with my Alcor. Feeding and ejecting without a single hiccup. Fit and finish is better than I thought - haven't seen any cosmetic issues. Not sure if it is a HD capable candidate, but I would at this point trust it over my old, now banned WK, or T97. It has a long way before getting to X95 status, but for what I paid, I am pleasantly surprised. I have the MK15 on order and will be interesting to see how it stacks up to the Alcor, since it's pretty slim pickings these days.
I shot the Akdas on every range trip before I recently got married. I am very cautious not to mar the wood, as I seem to have a propensity for that.
I have not run any 5.56 rounds through it, just .223.
Only thing I would consider changing is swapping out handguard for an aluminum one with MLOK. As it stands now, I have my light set way back on an offset mount on the main rail where my optic is (looks goofy but somewhat functional).
It is nice that it came with a cool soft case, which allows me to store it in there when not in use (I am again out of safe/cabinet space).
Overall, very happy with the Akdas Alcor but I have heard that with some Turkish guns, your mileage may vary. But mine has been great.
