Akkar Churchill???

Don't forget, these are in no way related to EJ Churchill, or Churchill (gunmakers). It is a rip-off of a hand-made quality name by an inferior mass production gunmaker.

I love mine so far, I don't usually buy any guns that aren't brand name but I must say I've been impressed by this gun, the first time you pick it up you will see it is very well built and an excellent value.

Ive only got 150ish rounds down the pipe so far but I will update once the season is over.

I shouldered 20 different guns last night, almost all Turkish, only 2 fit me well and appeared well built on disassembly. It tunred out one of those was sold and the LGS would a month or so to supply me with another that I had to buy sight unseen. So I took a plunge and settled on the Akkar. Hopefully I made a wise investment. I could find very little about these and I couldn't seem to find a bad review or problem reported on these on the net. One one review claimed any mileage, 20K rounds still tight and no FTF. Not sure how much faith to put in that report.

You could also go onto doublegunshop forum. Someone on there probably has first hand experience with one.

Had an intersting conversation out at the club the other day. Apparently they're more common in Britain then here, the British ex-pats knew the name right away and indicated I had, in fact, spent my money wisely. They tell me they are well made just lesser known over here.
