Does anyone here have one? I'm looking at the classic x50 with Max (zipper pouch below main pouch). They look like a really good harness system. I like my butler creek harness but want something that keeps my binos safer. I like all the small pouches for necessities for hunting. I think one of these in combination with a good day/hydration pack will be perfect for spot and stalk mulies hunts.

Perhaps but when I've used a front strapped Bino-Buddy I still found it got in the way a bit. I found that a small HIP PACK with a few side pouches was perfect to hold the binos as well as other gear PLUS it stays out of the way and is at my hip, easily accessed.

I used to hunt with a pair of 7x35s on a short neck strap. I would tuck it inside the front of my jacket. They were easy to bring out and fully protected otherwise, and did not interfere with anything.

I've done the neck strap thing, fanny pack thing and harness thing. My 10x42's are big and heavy as they have a rangefinder built into them. A neck strap won't cut it humping hills for 14 hours a day.

Yes it's a personal thing about where to have your bino strapped. The best bino I've ever used (for Ontario) is an old pair of 7x35 Leitz. Optically excellent and the size is perfect for most stalking situations. I can and do wear them most of the time BUT if I'm out for a long long day I will carry them in the hip pack pocket. I also have a pair of 7x42's (Leitz) and although they have a slight optical advantage in dimmer light they are longer and a bit bulkier. Same with a pair of 7x42 Zeiss, longer, a bit heavier but optically VERY nice.

Yes, I can understand too heavy. I wear a bib ammo pouch for CQB and it is a bit heavy on the neck.

I offset the weight on the neck with a 12" bungee cord that goes from the strap at the back of my neck down to my belt, at the small of my back. The weight of the ammo pouch pulling up on my belt offsets some of the weight of the pistol, etc. pulling down on my belt. Makes for a comfortable carry. There is very little pull on the back of my neck.

I have the AGC X50 classic without the extra bottom pouch and I like it alot. It lets me carry alot of stuff thats quick and easy to access. Its also taken a sheet kickin and is holding up well for the last 4+ years.

The only thing I dont like about the older design with the snap clip, is if I need to pull out extra ammo I have to open the big pouch to get to it. Not a major setback though. :)

I've got the KUIU pouch and love it
It caries my 10x42 Leica Geovids close to my chest with no bouncing
Quick and easy access
Water proof
Lifetime warranty

Got it today, I'm very happy with it. Seems like a quality piece of kit with lots of room for little odds and ends. I think for hunting it will carry:
Bushnell fusion 10x42
Windicator
Coyote call
Leatherman wave
Marking tape
Tags
Baby wipes
Zip ties
Lens cleaning cloth
Cell phone
Paracord
Lighter
Compass

With lots of room for hunt specific items like extra ammo, range cards, archery release, 2 way radio, GPS. I know it sounds like a lot but keep in mind they are all pretty small items

I was looking for something similar and was considering a small Horn Hunter to keep binos and rangefinder. Not sure if I want anything bigger, but will check these out some more.

I liked the Horn Hunter because it had the main pouch for the binos, and a magnetic attachment for a rangefinder, making quick and easy access for both.
