So I've ordered my pistols from CanAm and it says the order is processed. Now, should I fill out an ATT form(leaving out the specific gun info as I don't have any of that) and fax it in with my gun club membership?

Also, which reason should I check off?

f) Transport to a business or individual for sale / consignment

or

m) Transport to and from an approved shooting club or shooting
range for target practice (for restricted firearms and prohibited
handguns only)

This whole process is way too damn convoluted and is pissing me off. ATTs and registration should be gotten rid of. It would be much better that way.

Damnit. This form is pissing me off. I can't make heads or tails of it. How the hell am I supposed to know when and how often I'm going to transport it? And what the hell kind of details am I supposed to provide?

Ok, 1st off, disregard the dot and digits past it (e.g. .001)

As far as when you transport - you say 00:00 to 00:00 and Daily.

Try it, I used paper application. Make sure you keep all your options open: travel to and from Can-US border; other provinces if possible; ranges; gun shops, and shows; gunsmiths. Daily and round the clock...

You will want to request a long term ATT to transport your pistols to and from the range. You will need to provide your gun club membership number to the CFC when you contact them and they will likely grant this ATT to you up to the renewal date of your PAL. The standard long term ATT in Alberta is for Transport to all approved ranges, licenced gunsmiths and border crossings in Alberta.

You will need to request a short term ATT to transport the pistols home from the post office once you receive notice that they are ready for pick up (unless you happen to be home at the time of delivery and can sign then and there). For this you will need your transfer number as well as the physical address of the post office and specific time you will be picking them up for direct transport to your storage location. Don't call CFC for this until you get your delivery notice from Canada Post.

Have you called in with your reference number to complete the transfer?

If it's your first restricted they will email/fax you the ATT at the same time and they will want you to fax a copy of your range membership.
