Call and go to the extension 9026 (Alberta) and get due to unseen circumstance the office is closed for the day.

Maybe because they are in a temporary office while relocating from Jasper and 109 street to 10065 Jasper Avenue. Also in the past they were closed to public on Wednesdays. Try to call them tomorrow.

I thought they were "closed" every Wednesday... meaning that they are working to get caught up in their backlog of work, but not answering the phone?

Have been closed to public telephone inquiries on Wednesdays for over a year now. Never could figure that one out as the transfers/ATTs are actually done thru the satellite office in NB anyways..

You still get Miramashi when you phone the "Alberta" number. They are closed due to the weather.
