Alberta hunting draw result are out

999 everything except antlered moose in 504, thumbs up on that. I own a bush quarter with a healthy deer and moose population in 504. We have a very large bull there, crossbow to start for September and October, rifle in November.
 
Antlerless moose ,antlerless mule deer and antlered mule deer all in 220. Hope to use a recently re-bored Marlin 336 formerly in 30-30 now 38-55 with 273gr GC bullets done up by Ron Smith.With 32 gr of IMR 3031 I am getting 1" at 100 yards with a 4x Leupold and aging eyes.Chronied today at 1619fps.

I mentioned how I liked Alberta's priority draw system on another thread on CGN that was about B.C.'s draw system and one B.C. CGNer posted that anyone that wanted a more equitable draw system was and I quote a "commie pinko" .......lol !

“Commie pinko” LoL hilarious,I’m gonna use that on NB Hunters Facebook group,lol.....what a bunch of whiners,all complaining how unfair the moose draw is,same ol story/same ones whining year after year in a province with 4500 tags and 60,000 applicants if they don’t get drawn every year it’s a government conspiracy,lol.....yes I am an x-pat NBer ��

No draws for me this year,999’d everything again,was hoping my 16yo boy would draw late season antlerless elk with a P2 for Christmas vacation but no luck.....P3 guaranteed and some P2s got it last year,I guess he’ll get it next year?
No worries,I’ll have a pocketful of tags as usual anyhow,General WT,Gen elk,might buy my archery moose if I can spare a few days early season....might buy my antlerless supps if I don’t get an elk or moose in September.....probably eat another bear tag but I like to have it in my pocket in case I see a nice colour phase or giant black,but that said,I did get a nice chocolate last fall,my first colour bear,now I need a red and a cinnamon to collect the whole set,haha

Random lottery type draw. Possible for some to be drawn multiple times, others, never. They've created different, "pools" in an attempt to increase the odds the more times you apply.

No control over draws, no way to plan. Nightmare scenario someone applies for decades with not a single tag and then one year gets drawn for everything; or just never get's drawn.

They have it all there. I saw a very nice bull moose, no tags though. I also saw an amazing trophy elk but he was in the back of some other guy's truck. No elk tags either. My tags were for white tail.

In the later groups, you're in the last one to go, you'll find hunting pressure is quite high. Your best bet at game will be when they're being spooked by someone else. You can get out and walk, I saw tons of signs when I did, but game won't be tolerant of your presence at all and scatter easily.

I'm ashamed to admit I filled my tags by driving the truck around. Both deers I spotted 50 yards out. Got out of the truck VERY SLOWLY and they didn't scatter. One shot each, that was nice at least.
