We have had an excellent response from many companies when asked to sponsor the ALRC '09. Considering the sudden drop in the economy lately, its nice to see so many companies still willing to provide what they can to help support the shoot.

As most of you know, the entry fee is a little higher than most of the other events out there but there is a reason for it. Along with the Sponsor donated prizes Mutt is putting almost all of the money back into additional prizes and also giving each shooter an ALRC T-shirt. What little money is left will be used to maintain the targets/add new ones, and buy Trophies. With the T-shirts not included we estimate there will be over $5000 in prizes

All the prizes are going to be raffled off at the end of the shoot. There will be no prizes given for top place teams only trophies. We feel everyone should have a chance at winning the prizes and bragging rights are more than enough for the top place teams and individual shooters.

Here's what we have so far for Sponsor donated prizes.

They are in no particular order, just more or less the guys that have gotten back to us so far. Keep an eye on this post as there are a number of sponsors that have committed and we are just waiting to here back from them. I will add them onto the post as they come in.

Here's a preview of the poster.
*****poster being updated*******
Not done yet as there may be a few more sponsors.

Not all the registered teams have have paid yet and they only have till March 20th untill spots open up again.
If any unregistered teams still want in, I'd send a PM to Mutt to get put on the short list.

right on man i can't wait, hope this snow/cold weather pisses off real soon so a guy can get some quality trigger time in, that rifle will look real sweet in my safe in the spot that my 308 FT/R used to occupy!! I can't help but notice no ATR sponsorship, what is the deal with that??

Mutt is looking after ATR, and I think he's just waiting to hear back from Rick. I'm pretty sure they will be sponsoring, they always have in Mutt's previous shoots. I would have even put the logo up but I have not gotten one yet.

Like I said this is not the final list, just wanted to get started on it early.

***ATR has been added to the sponsor list***

Lots of great prizes, can't wait. This is going to be great. Great job guys and thanks to everyone. Like Bingo1010 said it would be nice if the weather would change for the better.

You guys are doing an awesome job of making this one of the best annual shoots in Canada. Congradulations!!!! I like the way the prizes are going to handed out.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm getting excited!!!!! Screw the weather, I've got bullets flying at every moment I can get away with!!!

Me to, shooting in crappy conditions ie: cold, blowing snow, and wind can only improve your shooting in more ideal conditions. You get to know your rifle and limitations real good. Any trigger time is beneficial.

yes it great to see that with the economy the way it is that all these great sponsors are willing to donate all this awsome stuff to support the shooters that support them. there are still more sponsors to come. also without all the help from DAVE42 we would not have even a fraction of the prize table we have. he has done an outstanding job contacting everyone and following up with them. MY HAT GOES OFF TO HIM AND ALL THE SPONSORS THAT ARE HELPING TO MAKE THIS SHOOT WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT WILL BECOME IN THE FUTURE. THIS IS JUST THE START. THANKYOU

Outstanding Support from the firearms comunity!! We are realy looking forward to attending this shoot as always, excellent work guys.

Rick when I pull the ATRS certificate from the prize pool, and since I already own some of your finest rifles can I use the certificate value to have you and Troy come up and help me do some work around the ranch this year? Lots of fences to mend and fertilizer to scoop up, ranges to build etc. etc..:p:D:D If not I guess I have my eye on some of your new AR platforms!!:D

Easy on the ATRS certificate, I heard you were going this year so I got the time off work and I'll make an appearance, just for you :) I think there will be a key chain or something left over for you though :sniper::nest:
