Hey, Ryan500. I bought my 460 xvr with 8 3/8" barrel at Wholesale Sports in Edmonton. This was my first handgun. For anyone thinking of asking me "who buys a 460 xvr as their first handgun?", the answer is simple. I do. The moment I held her, I knew I had to have her. I'm still new to guns so I'm nowhere near as good as the gun itself, but I have friends at the range who look at me and tell me I do as well shooting iron sights at 100 yards with my 460 as some guys do shooting iron sights with their rifle. I'm only saying that so that you see where I'm coming from. With that said, YES IT IS WORTH IT. For so many reasons. The coolness factor, the size, the novelty, the experience of shooting something that big, but more than anything the quality of this piece of steel! This thing really is amazing. I dropped the 1500 bucks without thinking about it (and I am by no means a rich man), and I've never looked back. This gun is in my opinion the ultimate production handgun. If you want more details why, just say so. I could write a book on my experiences with this thing. And if you're ever out at the Spruce Grove gun club and you see a 6' tall well tanned man with a goatee firing one of those things with a big, fat, #### eating grin on his face, stop by and say Hi. That's me. It won't take you long to understand why it's worth it.
