Alberta regs re: baiting deer

Don't know the regs, but my boys just picked about 10 gallons of crabapples.
1. Is this kosher in ab
2. Anybody in the gp area want them?

I'm not sure where it's listed but there's No baiting in Alberta.

Read the regs, but IIRC, it is not kosher, which was one of the reasons you see the TV Show outfitters in Northern SK a lot, not Northern AB. Much easier to get an obese, non-walking client on to a big buck, if you have been feeding it (the buck! )every day since mid summer.

Not to say there have not been a fair few guys disposing of yard waste in "places", or parking a grain trailer with a leak, off the side of a field while finishing the chores, but in the laws, you are not supposed to knowingly hunt over the stuff.

Yes illegal to hunt over bait in Alberta.

You could set up a trail camera for pic purposes only
