Alberta RO certification

I was just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere in alberta that I can get range officer certification,and if an alberta range cetification would be valid in BC.I have been looking but keep finding dead ends

Got mine on a course put on by K&J Winfield in Priddis. Don't know if they are doing it again this year.

They run RSO & RSO Instructor courses in Alberta.

Lethbridge Fish and Game Association has a big RO program.

The Alberta Hunters Education instruction organization does RO courses also. http://www.aheia.com/

After years of looking I had two clubs I'm a member of run courses on the same day. AHEIA and AFSS in two different cities

Thanks for all the good info,I have booked an training course with Alberta shooting sports for April 2nd

I did a course 3 years ago, for me it was a waste of time as the clubs in the area do not recognize it. But it is still a good course to take.

Many RO courses are sport specific eg. IPSC
