Following the Provincial Competition the AGM was held.

We have now have new people administering the web page, new people doing the stats, and new people at the helm

If you have any concerns that you would like to see addressed by the association, or any services that you would like the association to provide, please feel free to post them here or send me a PM, and I will do my best to accomodate you and your ideas.

Just wondering if the Alberta sporting clays association and Canadian sporting clays association are staying one and the same.

Also would be nice to see an up to date, complete rule book online, this will probably happen with the site revamp, but I'm going to point it out anyway.

By the way, thanks for stepping up to the plate and taking this on for us sporting clays shooters. That includes the others taking on this work as well, it is appreciated.

Just wondering if the Alberta sporting clays association and Canadian sporting clays association are staying one and the same. The ASCA will remain the "sponsor" of record for the CNSCA for now. CNSCA is a seperate entity. Membership in the ASCA automatically qualifies for membership in the CNSCA. This may change in the future. Sponsorship is welcome for both organisations. Stay tuned for CNSCA new in October.

Also would be nice to see an up to date, complete rule book online, this will probably happen with the site revamp, but I'm going to point it out anyway. The rule book is meant to on there now. There will likely be a couple of changes before the end of the year including a time limit similar to FITASC. Suggestions are welcome. Web issues have started to be addressed as of this am. Please watch for changes and feel free to comment.

By the way, thanks for stepping up to the plate and taking this on for us sporting clays shooters. That includes the others taking on this work as well, it is appreciated. Some of us enjoy the comraderie of an association and saw value in the work of the past. The last couple of years have lacked focus on increasing membership in Alberta and providing value. Suggestions of what you want the association to do will be welcomed. I look forward to hearing from all sporting shooters and those that would like to try .

Sorry NZShooter, meant to ask if the websites are staying one and the same.

As to the rule book, its there in theory, but there are big blanks, it doesnt show class breakpoints for instance. However I'm sure that will be sorted out shortly.

For now there will be one website. I imagine that as the national association gets stronger, it will stand alone and link to the various provincial associations. The purpose of the National association is to provide a central communication portal, among other things.
Please stay tuned for website updates. We also welcome pics and shoot reports to be submitted. Not sure how that will be handled, but we will be posting shoot pics shortly I hope.
