Couple buddies of mine were out from the nite of May 13 and got home holiday monday going for spring bear. They only seen a couple. One was a cinnamin but was a sow with 2 black cubs. There was one big bruiser they put the stalk on, but he sneaked away on them. They put on over 400km on the quads over their hunt. Cold weather and another snow storm hit again may have hindered their sightings.
The other highlight of their trip was finding a wolf / winter kill of a whitetail buck. Gross scored 211" BC. Pretty impressive for a "BUSH BUCK".
