Red Squirrels are a big NO-NO for shooting. They are classified as a furbearer and only a person with a trapping license may kill them and only by trapping. Rabbits and hares can be shot and snared (the latter only by residents) all year without a license or limit. Coyotes in most areas can be shot all year round by residents without a license and from Oct1 to Feb 28 in the Green area. There are some exceptions to the above so read your regs.
