Hello, I've been digging around for a while and am having a hard time finding what an Albertan needs to do to hunt there at all.

The only document I can seem to find pertaining to the Saskatchewan hunting regulations is this:

http://www.environment.gov.sk.ca/Default.aspx?DN=2a5dfe9f-6442-4667-ad59-253883e8b8e2

I can't seem to find from that where a "non-Saskatchewan resident" Canadian hunter needs for a basic hunting license, I want to know what a guy needs to go over and shoot gophers, rabbits etc, though I see that hunting coyote is not permitted for non sask residents.

Just want to know what licenses/tags are needed, do I need a hunter host and have to be in their company, and if it takes a long time to apply and receive permits.

It seems like I'm missing a document as that one seems so vague compared to the Alberta regulations, either that or I'm just being stupid cause I can't seem to see it.

Thanks for any help here.

No such thing as a licence required for the hunting of cottontail/hares/jackrabbits, in the prairie provinces of Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba.

But at least in the province of Saskatchewan, it would be better for you to actually have at least a non-resident upland game bird licence and keep to the season deadlines. For some reason they believe everyone is a poacher from out of province.

Gopher shooting, is a free for all with landowner permission. No one calls that "gopher hunting" out here.

Etc is too vague a description for non residents IMO.

Cheers
