I already had the bottom piccie, it's been circulating for a couple of years now , each time comes out with a new location as to where the moose is from . I still have yet to find out where it is actually from , anyone know ?

That's in Central Park in Manhattan! :D

It is said that those particular pics, at least the first one, is from Fort St John Area. They were posted in gun stores up there. I believe it was north of the beaton river turn off.

There is also Albino moose East Of Prince George but west of Mcbride in the upper fraser area.....

I know you are never to tell hunting spots....but then again I hear it is prohibited to hunt these guys....but the regs only say please refrain from shooting them because people enjoy watching them.

I have a friend of mine son started up that whitemoose.ca site in northern Ontario to stop the white moose hunt in the area's 30 & 31 thats up in the Foleyet Ontario Area theres quite a few white moose running around in that area but there not albinos because they have brown eyes there cool to see them walking around in the wild. Any ways he got his wish and there protected now as we can't hunt them which sounds good to me . I think Northern B.C. by Fort St-John and Foleyet were the only 2 spots in Canada where they are mostly seen ..

I heard they were from northern BC as well. I know 2 people that arent gunnutz members that have told me that they've got an email about an albino moose in Northern Ontario. Seems like the word is spreading that it is from Ontario, Ive never seen a magpie in Ontario though.

My family used to live in Kapuskasing and my dad worked in Chapleau and travelled back and forth on days off. On one occasion he saw a White(albino) moose with 2 brown calves near Foleyet. One of the guys he worked with used to be an MNR biologist and said there's actually a fair amount of Albino moose in the Foleyet area. Would be pretty cool to see!

One guy from Timmins that my dad talked to managed to take a picture of it and sent copies to us in the mail. Actually kinda looks like the bottom picture.

I know that in Newfoundland they have Albino Moose, I spend alot of time in Newfoundland every year for work. Its a practice there that they don't shoot them. I was told that in Newfoundland theres 7 moose for every person that lives there.

sorry there custom....But there are approx..500,000 people in newfoundland, and about 100,000 - 130,000 moose....:D..Still lots of moose though...:dancingbanana::agree:...highest density in North America...

And yes we do have some albino moose...And yes, we practice not shooting them...only shoot with cameras..

But everything else is fair game..:D

I never heard of them in B.C. but I imagin they are here in B.C. but we do have the White Spirit bear or Kremmody Which is from the black bear family and is protected.
