Can any of you more learned gentleman than myself indulge us all, the the time frame Alcan-Fiocchi had a partnership to produce all brass, empty, shotgun hulls?

Smith and Wesson had bought Alcan by 1976 Lyman Shot shell Handbook 2nd edition.
Alcan was gone by the 3rd Edition Lyman Shot shell Handbook in 1984.

Alcan produced a variety of plastic and fiber wads which made them attractive for loading field loads but was eclipsed by Rem, Win and Fed once the one-piece plastic wads arrived on the scene for us reloaders, especially for target loads.

It's said the now obselete G #57 Remington primer was specially made for fibre wads. Such as Circle Fly, etc.
