Wondering if anyone has one or shot one to give some input on it. Not to much online about it. Wanting a revolver and wondering how this is , or just go for a S&W but there 9mm is $$.

I've had one a little over a year, never had an issue with it. I've likely put somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1000 rounds through it. It's been as reliable as my .357 Alfa. Runs and does what it is supposed to.

The trigger is for sure *not* as nice as a Smith, but I feel that's a software problem, not a hardware issue... :D

2 things that kinda bother me a little bit about it:

--Moonclips are quite pricey for not much steel, and are sometimes difficult to find.
--The chambers in the cylender are *very* tight, consequently is does *not* like reloaded ammo. Not a big problem if you are running new ammo, chambers fine, but my club has ammo restrictions, that makes it somewhat of a pain.

I'm sure a little metal polish in the chambers would smarten it right up, but I just haven't as yet.

More or less, it depends what your intentions are. As a target and bullseye pistol, The Smith far outshines it. As a Stock Service Revolver, for the run and gun games, I'm very happy with it.

As I indicated, I have a 6" 357 and a 4.25" 9mm, I'm very happy with them, especially at the price point.

I have a 4.5" 9mm (fluted cylinder model) with the Rusty Woods spring kit installed. It not outstanding but it's certainly a decent gun for the price. I'm not a huge fan of today's S&W products (most of the Smiths I own are 35+ years old) so for me the Alfa was a good way to add a 9mm revolver without breaking the bank,

My dad has one, shoots very straight, fit and finish is ok, moon clips are expensive as already noted. The trigger on his is not very good. Low recoil. I wish Ruger GP's came in 9mm with moon clips.
