Alfa Proj walnut grips

The reduced power spring is great. Dropped the double action trigger pull on my 6261 to about 9 1/2 lbs. I also put the stippled walnut grips on mine, the finish is great, but for the fit - I found there was a bit of a gap on the upper backstrap. The fit to my revolver was quite secure though. For me the finger grooves didn't quite fit my hands (size medium). I rasped the grips down which helped quite a bit. In hind-sight, I should have gone with the BRNO Walnut Grips Style #11 : Standard Checkered. Rusty Woods carries them for $55

When I bought mine I was lucky enough to get to hold all the optional grips and we even put the two walnut grips I thought I'd like onto the gun. In the end for my larger size hands the stock plastic/rubber grips actually fit me the best. Other hands will find that some of the walnut grips fit better. It WAS a very close thing with a couple of them pulling at me. But in the end the small sizing differences made me stick with the stock grips.

The smaller sizes of the AP wood grips would be especially nice for those with medium size hands.

The work on them was superb. Those with checkering were crisply done and the fit of the grips to the frames was top notch. So the quality is certainly there. It gets down more to the fit to the shooter's hands.
