Alfa Proj.

I just looked into Alfa Proj .357; I want a revolver for PPC to fire .38 special Wad Cutters. Because of the feed back I got and the reviews I have read, I will not be buying one unless it was very, very cheap.

I personally think moon clips for 9mm would be a PITA. 9mm was designed for semi-auto; rimed for revolvers.

I had one, it wasn't bad..Trigger kinda heavy but manageable. It wasn't a S&W. I shot PPC with it. I found it accurate. But I would get 2 cylinders that would stick often. Another person I shot with had some sticky cylinders as well.

If you do.. Find the TK custom moon clips. They held the 9mm better and didn't flop around as much. I did love how fast it was to reload.

I like mine. It's easy to shoot. The trigger is also not bad.

It seems to be picky about ammo though - it's really sensitive to anything even slightly out of spec (esp. too long) and it didn't like hollow points for some reason.

But it's a fun gun. I tend to shoot my 357 or 44 more, but it's nice to have on hand when I'm flush with 9mm ammo.

Mike, we've had the question asked recently (currently page 2); you'll find more answers there.

They used to be quite common in the LGS's in these parts. Not so much anymore.

I found you really needed to ditch the rubber grips and go with the believe #9 wood ones, they were 1/2" longer and made the gun feel much nicer.. I probably buy one again, down the road, as a plinker.

I even custom made some moon clip holders.
