Alfa Project .22LR?

Pricing difference usually is a result of steel frame vs alloy. I thiink some models may also come with the extra cylinder for .22 magnum.

I can't speak to the .22's specifically but I have a 9mm Alfa and it seems a pretty good gun for the money. I do recall some people complaining of issues ejecting spent rounds from the .22 after firing for awhile. Try the search function here and you should be able to find the threads.

.22LR and .22 magnum have different bullet diameters. This is why you have to buy a complete barrel kit and magazine from CZ to convert your 455 .22LR to a .22 magnum.

I have a stainless .22 lr with the 4.5 inch barrel. It's a good firearm as far as I can tell. No issues with empties sticking or anything else for that matter. I put the rusty wood spring kit in to improve the trigger. I actually had it for sale along with a few others but never got around to bumping it to the top after the first go around. I just don't seem to be a revolver guy.

Your right the .22WMR round is nominally .002" bigger, but that's not the reason you need a different barrel for the cz conversion or for the sako Quad, It's because of the chamber length. If that was the case you wouldn't be able to just change cylinders like you do in the revolvers, you would also need to change the barrel on the revolver as well.

Many Ruger SA .22 revolvers come with the seperate .22 mag cylinder.....barrel is fine

The model number for the steel frame, .22lr +.22wmr cylinder, 6" bbl model is 2361.

It's an easy shooter, maybe too easy. Very little felt recoil because it's a .22 with a 6inch barrel and steel frame - solid not-so-little gun. Retrospect should i have gotten the 4.5? maybe. I still enjoy this one and do find it more enjoyable to shoot the 22 wmr over the 22lr

From what I can tell......3 digit Models are alloy...4 digit Model number are steel frame. Models starting with "22" are .22LR....starting with "23" are .22WMR If the third digit is "5" it is a 4.5" barrel If it is a "6" it's a 6"

(there are no .22WMR models in alloy so no need of the second digit being either 2 or 3...hence "251" "261" etc)

In single action they aren't awful with the stock spring....a little heavy but not awful. In DA the trigger pull weight is ( as reported by several CGN members)literally off the scale. I did get a kit installed but it wasn't a huge deal to me as I almost never shoot any of my revolvers in DA.

I have the 4.5" in alloy and in 22LR. Some brands do stick after firing, some don't. I very much like the gun and find it extremely pleasant and relaxing to shoot. I too put in the Rusty Wood's spring kit (be careful if you DIY, as it's not as simple as it appears, especially if you bump it after removing the side plate. Ask me how I know....). I like the kit, but didn't find the OE DA pull to be a bear. Maybe it's just me.

I painted my front sight blaze orange, but other than that, it's bone stock. My wife likes shooting it and very soon I'll introduce my kids to it as soon as they get comfy with the 10/22

I also have the 4.5 inch in alloy and it runs great a bit heavy in double action.
After a few rounds the cylinder eject can be a bit hard and just needs a quick clean.

I managed to lose the cyclinder lock spring when performing a full strip and clean.
The warnety is with bl Solution, great service they sent me a new one free.
