ALG ACT Advanced Combat Trigger. Back in stock. AR10, AR15, 102

Let me know what you think of it once it's installed.

Ok, trigger arrived today. Thanks AE!!
First time I installed a trigger group but it was dead easy except the previous owner of my AR Loctited the pistol grip on! Anyways, trigger is a silver color which is a nice contrast to the rifle.
Trigger pull with the purple hammer spring is definitely lighter than stock. Feels very soft and smooth. The reset is rougher than I was used to on stock. You can feel some grittiness getting to the reset. I added a bit more G96 to the assembly and it seemed to smooth out a bit. Maybe it will wear in? The reset is also louder than I was used to. Definitely audible!

I will be violating the biggest rule of running your equipment tomorrow as I will be shooting the rifle in a TAC match without testing it out on real ammo first! Let's hope it goes well. All the tests I've done says everything works like it should so we'll see.

For those guys who have this ACT trigger with the purple spring, the instructions say that you may get light primer strikes on hard primers or surplus ammo. Anyone notice these issues with theirs? I'll be using Norc and AE ammo. Should be fine, right?

On my lowers, I always run the full-power springs.......I had a few light strikes with my first install, which cleared up when I used the brown spring - so now all light springs go in the purple spring bag (garbage.)

Ok, shot the match. Weirdly, when under pressure, you just don't notice the improved trigger pull. I shot a stock Tavor once and the trigger didn't bother me either. Only slow fire do you really notice the difference.I agree with Agilent one though. Got at least 5 light primer strikes with the purple spring. Will be switching to the tan one tonight when I clean the rifle.
Overall, very happy with the ACT but use the TAN springs if you plan on running and gunning with it!!!

Thanks for the review.

Not noticing the trigger is the mark of a good trigger maybe?

There is a reason they include the 6lb spring, and I think your ammo is it.

Cheers

How about their rails? I sent an email and a post here but have only heard crickets from you. Last time I was looking for one I had the same experience
