all the Iraqi pistols sold out in 2 days will there be anymore?

Wasn't Saddam carrying a Glock when he was caught?

And so when the library for George W. Bush opens in 2013 on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, visitors will most likely get to see one of his most treasured items: Saddam Hussein's pistol.

The gun, a 9 millimeter Glock 18C, was found in the spider hole where the Iraqi leader was captured in December 2003 by Delta Force soldiers, four of whom later presented the pistol to Mr. Bush. Among the thousands of gifts Mr. Bush received as president, the gun became a favorite, a reminder of the pinnacle moment of the Iraq war, according to friends and long-time associates.

But the gun that he was frequently photographed with while still in power is the BHP:

Tariqs

I really hope these are better made than the Egyptian Helwan 951 copy.

What are you saying? When I was doing my research on the internet regarding Tariqs, I read that Helwans are actually considered better quality than Tariqs. Are you suggesting Helwans are low quality irons?

Well, if you believe in the buzz on the U.S. sites, the locking blocks on the Helwan are subject to failure and impossible to get. I have not read anywhere that the Iraqi made guns are worse. I have a "feeling" that as licenced Beretta copies, they must be better than the Egyptian copies. I guess we will know soon.

Have you ever heard of anything of quality being made in Iraq? High-performance Iraqi automobiles? Luxury Iraqi watches? Iraqi supercomputers?

Brilliant. Now name three famous people from Belgium. (no cheating) :slap:

Not worth it man. You need to understand that there are many children on this site who, even if they have an RPAL, can't afford to buy a real steel handgun. They can afford to freely criticize them though, relying on the "research" they've done on the Internet.

I actually own one - it arrived last week and I cleaned it this morning. Very nice pistol. In VG condition, tight, and feels good in the hand. Best $390 delivered I've spent in a long time. I'll try to shoot in in the next few weeks.

This will all be moot in a week of so when they're all sold, and then we'll have multiple WTB's.
