Allergic to deer/mounts

The ulimate revenge of the deer.

Just got my caribou mount back and been sneezing ever since, took him out to the garage and all is good, thought maybe just the chemicals used.
Shot myself a nice little buck the other day and went to skin him out like the dozens before but now for some reason I just lost it. Sneezing,snottin and can't see as my eyes water so much. Re-thinking the bear hunt next spring for that rug so I was wondering if anyone else had the same problems and is there a cure. Can't see living on Alegra for the rest of my life but is there something to spray on the mounts.
BTW the meat is not a problem before I hear about that. Thanks

Heard of this before. Sounds like you ARE allergic having built up a sensitivity after repeated exposure. Plastic gloves, face mask, googles etc when field dressing/skinning deer. The meat won't cause the reaction.

Mount (other than European or glassed in) may be out though.

Maybe try popping an anti-histamine next time you have to skin one?
