I picked up a LB of Reloader 10x to try out for my .223. My loading manual has no info and Alliant has a few recipes up but that's it...

I'm looking for min/max loads for Hornady .55gr FMJBT

Alliant has the following recipe listed for a

•Speer 55 gr SP

IMI 2.175 - CCI 400 - Reloder 10X - 23gr - 3,159 fps

I know I can use the load data for a FMJ but I've got no clue as to where the 23gr falls in the min/max range. Should I assume this is close to the max and then back off 10% and work the load up or should I just try the recipe and hope for the best?

Alliant's site gives max loads. Says so on the "Enter the Guide" page.
The SP load will be fine. Load for the bullet weight. It's maker and type doesn't matter.

Yes I found that disclaimer. So since they posted a recipe for a .55gr bullet at 23gr of R10x they're suggesting that's the maximum load they recommend. ( now it's same to assume they left a safety net in there)..They list the following loads 55gr bullet (23gr)--52gr ( 22.5gr)--50gr ( 24.4gr)

So I'm just gonna work out a load between 22gr and 23gr
