*before the purists jump on me, i LOVE my factory tula laminate sks. It was just a tonne of fun to do a project and experimenting with mods and not caring if I break something. Got a little carried away though...

trigger mod, ejection port mod, closed-bolt mag insertion bolt mod

tapco stock/foregrip/mags, utg quad rail, NCstar weaver mount bipod

flashlight, pressure switch laser, barska red dot (to be replaced)

tiger stripe bluing job on bolt carrier

!!Still looking for a cheek rest and detachable side rail, WHERE CAN I FIND ONE!?!?!?! PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!

Holy crap man, you should work in the movie industry! if you can make a simple SKS look like a weapon of mass destruction you'd have a great future modifying guns for movies!

I love it! (if only i were arnold, I might still be able to should fire it for more that 5 seconds, so heavy)

For the bolt i just printed out a tiger pattern, laid it on top of some duct tape and cut it out to make a duct tape stencil then slapped on a couple coats of gun blue

YES! as if i didn't think of that I'm off to build a tiny flame thrower! I'm already working on a knife mount for that blank space on the side of the stock. pictures of the finished product will be along as soon as i find a detachable side rail


ps is it legal to put a slightly modified propane or butane torch on a gun? like 3 foot range at most? just for show?
 
Very nice. Now, if you could put the bayonet back, and then have it so the torch heats up the bayonet red hot, imagine the possibilities!

Frighten home invaders with a glowing bayonete to the eye!
Start campfires!
Cauterize wounds!
Solder electronics!
Melt through Kevlar body armor for superior stabbing ability!
Stick it in a mug to boil water for tea!
Accidentally touch it and burn the hell out of your hand rendering it useless for weeks!
And so much more...

Nice selection, I'll probably be picking up some of those rubber rail covers. I have a scope lined up already but plllleeeaaassssseeee tell me you carry a detachable side scope mount with a release lever that isn't ncstar and i just didn't notice.

ha: To anyone who does have one, please let me know where to get one!!! no luck on EE or any sponsors' sites.
