Alternate Targets

My local gun club sells me boxes of clays for $10.
Easier than going state side, and it supports the local gun club.

Back in may me and a buddy split on a dozen boxes, we figured it would last us the summer, with the crap weather we've only used up 1 box

If my brother in law (my gun club) sold me boxes for $10 I'd buy from him as well. Unfortunately I am not that lucky. I never make a specific run down to the US just for clays.

Wow, Last price I paid was $15.00/box, and on the American side, I bought them for $11.00 plus GST at the border, a year ago. Clays have gone up big time since then. Where are you guys paying that kind of money for clays?
Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, and any sporting goods store are around $19.00

I get mine from either Scheel's, Cabelas, and one time I got some from a random hunting store somewhere in Montana.

CD's were an excellent idea. So many people have old burned cds or coasters or those AOL subscriber disks. Bet they shatter nice on a good hit. Do it on a sunny day.

Old mostly used spray paint cans are fun too. Make sure to shoot at a safe distance. Wait until winter so you can see the paint spread out on the ground.

CROWS:):)...my most favorite bird to hunt. Smarter that any duck or goose! No limit or closed season!
Yup CROWS!!

There's a hemp farm about an hr and a half from here. The owner is always happy to see you pull into the driveway to shoot a few. He made us hotdogs last time and occasionally throws us a box of ammo.
