I've got a Burris PEPR and think its decent for the price... but am looking for other options in that style of mount, of equal or higher quality. Does anyone have any suggestions of brands/models to look at? Just want to try something new for a new scope.

Thanks

Vortex optics makes one called the Cantilever Ring Mount you could try. It comes in a 2 inch or 3 inch offset and is $200-$210 respectively. It is quick detach and I like it, it seems pretty durable and of quality manufacture. I use one on my .45-70 lever action so I can use open sights without losing my scopes zero and can change quickly back and forth. It holds up well for my purpose.

As mentioned above, the Vortex mount is made by American Defense (ADM).

I have an ADM Recon mount on one of my AR's. The mount I have is the 30mm mount, it also is available in 1".

Prior to purchasing my new ADM mount and NF scope, I was using Larue mount with another scope.

IMO, the ADM mount is a better value, the Larue mounts typically sell for much more than the ADM mounts.

I also prefer the clamping system ADM uses, compared to the cam'd swivel mounting system Larue uses.

My Larue mount left circular marks in the finish on the underside of the rail on my other AR after putting the mount on/off a few times. As my plan was to be able to change mounts/sights out frequently on my new build, I felt that the marks would become more noticeable with use, one of the reasons I bought the ADM mount to go on my new upper.

I know..................I'm anal! But the ADM mount leaves no marks/mares that I can see!
