Alumina Covers for a vari-lll still available?

I have a vari-x lll 2.5x8x36 than I'm trying to find a set of alumina covers for.
I see the new stock numbers are 59040 for 36mm objective lens cover and 59055 for standard eye cover.
It seems that any scope built before 2004 won't fit correctly with these covers.
Does anyone know where I might find some old stock for my scope?

Hi there,

Pre-2004 scopes will need to be updated to accept Alumina covers. If you send us photos of the ocular and objective lenses, we can quote on the upgrade. Leupold only builds one generation of Alumina caps, so once the upgrade is complete you can utilize the current Alumina's.
