Aluminum Gas Checks?

I've been shopping for gas checks and found some decent prices on aluminum gas checks, but i don't know anything about them.

Are there any issues with aluminum gas checks used on cast bullets that I should know about? Are they just as good as regular gilding metal gas checks? Thanks in advance.

I make my own AL gas checks and they work great.

I also make my own with the FreeChex III tool out of aluminum flashing. They work very well.

Why would your push the most abrasive metal down your barrel? Consider what aluminum is used to make......oxide abrasives!

Aluminum gas checks damage barrels? Really? Do you have some evidence of that? Because I'd really like to see it if you do.

I'm pretty sure tungsten carbide would be the most abrasive metal

The aluminum is not anodized and has been annealed. It's very soft.
