It seems that any available aluminum mauser bottom metal has disappeared off the market about a decade ago. Does anyone know where to find some or who might be able to custom manufacture a one off bottom metal?
I did find the parker hale metal at intersurplus. I'm hoping to shave some weight from my hunting rifle. Most parker hale bottom metal was steel with no real easy way to determine if it is aluminum other than weight.
