Am I missing Varget?

Was going to use Varget to load some 223 68grain Hornady BTHP, found the data in the Hornady load chart but I don't see Varget listed in the Lee chart for the disc number for the Perfect Powder Measure. Maybe I'm just missing it
 
Don't forget about RL-15. Almost interchangeable with Varget as far as powder charges, but seems to shoot a tick better in my guns from .223 to .308.
 
I've been loading that bullet in 223 for a few rifles and it's worked great with 23.6gr of Varget. Use your scale to set the PPM up.

i've found lots of "holes" in lee products over the years- you REALLY need a second source to back them up-light dippers, ( need a scale- and not a lee) common calibers missing, common powders missing, etc- nothing so bad as you will get into trouble, more like why didn't they include or does nobody check this stuff
 
Personally I would choose a weight of that power that I want to use, as mentioned, a tad over 25 grains, and use a scale to determine which powder measure disk consistently provides that weight.
 
I now wonder if the original poster is using the Lee Perfect Powder measure as stated, which is adjustable like the RCBS, Hornady etc. or the Lee auto disk (pro) model since he mentions disks.

You will likely find the auto disk doesnt throw enough Varget and even with the double disk kit it still may not work for this powder/load levels.
 
oops, you are right, it is the Lee auto disk, got the names mixed up. I will use a scale to find the right measure, thanks.
 
I use the auto disk for pistol cartridge reloading, an in particular light charges. I have however checked the Lee estimates vs the actual weights of charges thrown, and they are not very close at all. I was about 20% over what it said it should be measuring.
