Amega Ranges Scout Mount for Mini-14

Anyone know if you can get Amega Ranges Scout Mounts (for Mini-14) in Canada?

Manufacturer has no license to export apparently so if not, anyone know of a similar product that is available in Canada?

Thanks, ordered from Brownell's today. They put a hell of a markup over the manufacturer's price but what can you do? Now, the rings and the scope...

I got the ultimak and really like it... the lower profile is nice for me.

It also looks like the A.R.s extra mounts are not threaded which means you are self tapping whenever you move any of the extra rails.... eventually they will get loose...

My first choice was the Ultimak but they don't make it for the newer Ranch rifles with the heavier, tapered barrel... We'll see how this one works out.
 
Well, although both the Amega Ranges and Brownell's websites claim that their Mini-14 Scout Mount...

Fits all Ruger Mini-14 serial numbers, including early 180 series and all Ranch Rifles.

Well I tried to mount mine last night and it sure doesn't fit my ranch rifle (the one with the heavier tapered barrel).

This is frustrating since Ultimak make it a point to tell you theirs won't fit the new barrels (which leads one to Amega Ranges who make it a point to tell you their's will...).

Anyway, have an e-mail in to Brownell's to see what they will do about it. If they won't do anything anyone interested in buying a scout mount? Saskcop?
