Hello!

I'd like to known if this conversion kit is reliable.I've seen it in the Brownells catalog and the whole package is the answer that I'm looking for.

Any output would be appreciated!

Also:
-Does the parts interchange with Colt?

-Any dealer/distributor in Canada?

Many thanks !!

Like Sigger mentions, ATR is a good source. The system is almost identical to the Colt afaik. Only major issue is mags. Colts are $$$$. You can use Uzi mags if you can get them milled for the Colt mag catch, but they don't hold the bolt back on the last round.

I've been shooting an ASA upper for years, and can reccomend it. Any problems I had with it were attributable to 1 bad UZI mag I had in the batch of a half dozen. I have shot it at some of the carbine matches in the area and it has no problem knocking steel over at 100 yds. And being 9mm, I can shoot it in the indoor range with the club.
I enjoy the 9mm conversion so much, I have yet to use up the first box of 556 ammo I bought ,pre conversion, for this rifle .
About the only negative I find with the ASA is the upper looks a little hokey. The forward assist area has been milled down and a big ASA stamped in that area. I keep meaning to replace the upper with a normal one, but it's not that big an issue.

I've kept my 9mm carbine fairly plain jane, with only an Elcan and a collapsible stock for accessories. I've seen other 9mm carbines all tricked out, but in reality, who needs a flashlight mounted on a rifle when most of the matches are during the day.
