For a while, there was a 'Daisy Pledge' molded into the butt of every one of their plastic stocked rifles. I go looking for a photo of the text every once in a while but with no success. It went like this:
"I pledge myself to protect people, animals and property in my community by always aiming and shooting my rifle safely."
If memory serves, the pledge included a likeness of a kid standing in a noble pose, of course holding his air rifle.

The "Daisy Pledge"
The pledge was molded into the plastic butt stock of Daisy BB guns produced in the 1950s and early 1960s and was also included in the accompanying manuals. The exact wording was:
"I pledge myself to protect people, animals and property in my community by always aiming and shooting my rifle safely"
