What do you guys know about this cartridge, specifically the powder?

I was at the range last night trying out some new reloads. One thing I have found so far is I believe my rifle lilkes its rounds hot. I want to use mainly h335 as it meters so well and I have about 6 pounds of it. My reloads did reasonably well but had cycling issues, especially with the weaker charges, and the groups weren't anything to write home about. It's not until I get to 25.5 grains of h335 that it cycles reliably BUT the bolt doesn't always lock open on the last shot.

I had 20 rnds of AE, loaded up 10 rnds, aimed at a new target and fired 5 rnds at the head, the other 5 rnds at the red bullseye center mass shooting quickly. Well wouldn't you know it, I basically hollowed out the center mass bullseye and a nice tight group in the head. Bolt also locked open last shot.

Went home and pulled one of the AE rounds I had left. Powder looks VERY much like h335 (I know full well not to assume it is) and when I weighed it, I was surprised to see it was 25.5 grains. They also seated the bullet a little deeper at 2.200 where as I was seating mine at 2.250 as per the data I found on line for h335 specific to an AR.

So ya, anyone know what powder the use in the AE cartridges?

And anyone that loads using h335, what is your COAL? I think a good chunk of my cycling issues is the length of the cartridges I've made so far.
